After somewhat of a lull a number of classification regulations have been published recently:

EC Regulation No.1065/2010 clarifies the position of the classification of lint removers (from clothes). The Regulation classifies the product to CN 9603.90.91 which attracts a standard duty rate of 3.7%.
Musical Instrument Amplifiers
EC Regulation No.1066/2010 classifies amplifiers that are to be used for musical instruments (electric guitars) to CN 8518.40.89 which attracts a standard duty rate of 4.5%. Please be aware that certain TARIC codes under this heading are covered by Autonomous Duty Suspensions.
EC Regulation No.1067/2010 classifies shower heads made of plastics with a nickel coating to CN 3924.90.00 which attracts a duty rate of 6.5%.
EC Regulation No.1076/2010 classifies “common-mode chokes” with dimensions of approximately 3 × 3 × 2 cm (including the base plate) consisting of two coils of insulated copper wire wound on a circular ferrite core, with a ratio of 1:1 to the same CN code as “Inductors,” that being CN 8504.50.95 thereby attracting a standard duty rate of 3.7%.
