Update to Preferential Trade on Imports from Balkans

29 July 2011

The EU has entered in to a number of free trade agreements with countries around the Balkans.

Qualifying imports benefit from reduced or 0% customs duties. CIP Paper (11)66 provides an update of the matrix of trade agreements with Albania, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Croatia, Macedonia, Montenegro, Serbia and Turkey and shows which countries can work together to meet the origin rules.

If you require any further information on these agreements or how to determine whether your products benefit for preferential treatment then please contact us.
